Equipment Mechanic - Technician
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing company and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Repair and replace defective parts.
Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper operation.
Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about all aspects of repair and maintenance work associated with small and heavy construction equipment
Small engine repair experience is a plus, such as two cycle
Electric over hydraulic experience wanted
Must have a valid driver's license.. CDL class is preferred
Family owned company with great staff to work with
Must have own tools
Must be able to preform heavy labor & have physical mobility for required mechanical tasks
Must be an experienced technician with 3-5 years or technical school degree
